winter solstice falls on 22-Dec-09.We eat tangyuan this day.
Tangyuan (rice ball) is a traditional Chinese food made from glutinous rice and served with “sugar water”—water boiled with sugar, etc.
It may or may not contained fillings which made from sesame/ peanut, etc/
Luckily, I managed to get a pack of Tangyuan from oriental market at Exeter. :-p

haha, yeah no choice..only one option availalble.. i miss the time made tangyuan together with family,
and dongzhi is one of the chinese festival, die die also hv to keep it, and appreciate it, else future generation dunno d
