St. Andrews Trip

A day trip to St. Andrew, about 2.5 h from Glasgow. St Andrews is a small town (population 18,000) in the county of Fife on the east coast of Scotland, facing the North Sea, and hosting the oldest university in Scotland. The town is perhaps most famous, however, as the home of golf. Also, St. Andrew Uni is the oldest scottish institution (founded in 14th century) and with its most famous recent alumnus being Prince William (source: wikitravel).
