study abroad is a great experience, and we have to spend wisely at the same time. Recording daily expenses and also income sources available is a good practice to manage your cash flow.

I am using money manager to do this simple financial planning.

Overall, i spent £ 84.00 per month, about £ 2.80 a day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If you earn pound and spend here, this is consider affordable. Although one may argue UK imposed high income tax, but as far as I concern, their welfare are well taken care off.
